What data we have

The app has no accounts. Our server stores only:

a random, anonymous device ID the app creates on install,
your votes on places, linked to that device ID,
the lists you chose to share as a link (/l/…).

Delete in the app (instant)

Open the app and tap the settings icon (Sources and device ID).
Tap Delete my data, then Yes, delete everything.

Your votes and the lists you shared are deleted from our server right away, and the app starts over with a new device ID.

Request by email

If you no longer have the app, or shared lists before version 1.0 (10):

If you still have the app, copy your device ID from Sources and device ID.
Email support@toseeornottosee.app with the subject "Delete my data", including the device ID and the links of any shared lists you want removed.

What is deleted

All votes stored under your device ID.
The lists you shared as a link from that device (older shares: the links you send us).

What is kept

Your past votes remain only as part of the anonymous world percentages for each place. These totals contain no device ID and cannot be linked back to you.

When

In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are completed within 30 days and we reply to your email.

Advertising ID

Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID. We do not store it. You can reset or delete it at any time in your phone settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
